The Dark Knight

Ultra Productions had the great honor of being involved with one of the most notable films of our time, The Dark Knight. For the Home Entertainment release, Ultra was tasked with producing two exclusive VIP events and filmmaker Q&A receptions. The first event took place at the Hard Rock Café at Universal CityWalk, and featured the Batpod that was used in the film, props, and costumes worn by Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. The second, and more intimate event was held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Linwood Dunn Theatre. To celebrate the iconic imagery from pivotal scenes in this epic film, Ultra created several large-scale prints (some measuring as large as 15’ x 7’) that were rigged for guest viewing. Both events had presentations that educated attendees on the cool new features available on the Blu-ray through B-D Live, intimate Q&A sessions with director Christopher Nolan, and culminated with a screening of the film.
